1. What are the courses offered and duration?

Answer: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery i.e. Ayurvedacharya) of 5½ years duration, Post Graduate (MD Ayurveda) of 3 years and other Certificate courses of 4 month duration.


2. What are the eligibility criteria to get admission In BAMS?

Answer: 10+2 standard with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned State Governments and Education boards provided the candidate passes the examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.


3. What are the eligibility criteria to get admission into MD/MS course?

Answer: After BAMS course a person has to Qualify in the Entrance Exam conducted by University to procure admission in MD/MS.


4. Is the college is affiliated and recognized?

Answer: Yes, affiliated to Gujarat Ayurveda University. It is recognized by Central council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi. It is also permitted by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, New Delhi.


5. Can I get information about other certificate courses college offers?

Answer: Yes, College offers other Certificate courses like Certificate Training program in Panchakarma, Certificate Training program for Ksharasutra therapy, Certificate course in Stree Roga and Prasuti Tantra and Certificate course in Ayurvedic Dietetics.


6. Documents required for admission?

Answer:
Mark sheet 10+2.
Mark sheet 10th Standard as age proof.
Domicile Certificate.
Caste Certificate for Reserve Category. Transfer Certificate.
Character Certificate Passport size Photos

FAQ For patients

1 What is the admission procedure?

Answer: P D Patel Ayurveda Hospital admit patients only for treatment purpose. It is compulsory to visit the hospital first for consultation , make a case profile which is easily available from the reception and with the doctor’s advice you can get admitted to hospital.


2 What are the timings for consultation?

Answer: 9am to 12:30 pm and 3:30pm to 5:00pm


3 Can I get a fundamental understanding of panchakarma technique?

Answer: This is one of the treatment methods used in Ayurveda. Panchakarma is a process used for purification. It will help the body to release excess doshas, and also it will help the body to get rid of toxins in an effective manner. It basically means detoxification.

4 What treatment is offered for life style disorders such as obesity?

Answer :Yes .we have specialty OPD for obesity. The treatment which suits your prakruti and condition along with lifestyle modification is given by the specialist Doctor. And we have OPDs for other life style disorders also like Diabetes, Blood Pressure etc.


5 What are the benefits of Swarnaprashana?

Answer: As it contains the essence of the gold which is known to be the immune booster and immuno modulator. It is also processed with various other Ayurveda herbs which are said to be the very effective in development of the overall health of the child.
